The standard full air, S-cam type drum braking system provides reliable and effective braking. The 358 is powered by Hino's 260 hp, 7.6L 6-cylinder, turbocharged, diesel engine with 660 lb.-ft. of torque and is available with a heavy-duty Allison 3000RDS 6-speed automatic transmission with PTO capability. The 358 is offered with spring or Hendrickson rear air suspensions. With available wheelbases from 187" to 271", the 358 can be customized to suit individual needs.
